@realcrazyvaclav @ATRightMovies That exactly what I was thinking when I watched it at the time. There was no way it was going to be the actual Queen. I was expecting some cheesy routine involving Elton John or someone.

Is there a better feeling than getting into a freshly made bed with a beautiful lady. Probably better if it’s your own wife but, hey ho. *Before you come at me I’m joking…!*

@Hepworthclare @WeCopyYouDown @annestephen1 What is “the job” he’s doing exactly? I mean yep he may be doing some good stuff but his PR operation is a joke. Even the New Statesman (which i subscribe to btw) thinks so!

@WeCopyYouDown @annestephen1 My view is KS is more focused on getting the job done than stroking the media, which IMO fuels the hostilty. And IMO the No10 "comms" are not sufficiently sharp or pro-active Blair groomed the media before & after he became PM. He had Campbell- an expert in media management.

Very disappointed in last night's C4 broadcast via Lewis Goodall. A very shallow analysis & one dimensional - no added value Lacked balance & participants mostly drawn from the usual suspects. Clever timing - just before the local election - but just outside purdah restrictions.

I disagree with many of Labour’s decisions, but seriously? This could’ve been a hit piece on Farage who faces zero media accountability but instead, this? Labour has objectively inherited a shitshow from the Tories (who didn’t face docs like this while fucking the country).

Callaghan was the last Prime Minister to have served in world war two, as a junior naval officer on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific. He was responsible for foiling an attempt by the Argentina to threaten the Falklands in the 1970s by the early forward deployment of an SSN.
Prof. Frank McDonough@FXMC1957

26 March 2005. James Callaghan, Labour Prime Minister (1976-1979), died (aged 92). He’s the only British politician to have served in the 4 leading offices of the UK state: Foreign Secretary, Home Secretary, Chancellor of the Exchequer and Prime Minister.

I’ve been burned by the boss, again. Context - we’re waiting for the washing machine to finish before we go out. Me ‘it’s got 13 minutes left, that’s ages. Let’s go and sort it when we get back’ Sam ‘yes, I’m fully aware you think 13 minutes is a long time’

If you let your grandchildren call you Nanna and Gramps, then it's obvious one of your children has married into the lower classes. Granny and Grandad for lower middle class; Grandma and Grandpa for the upper middle class and above.
