The executive governor of Oyo state, His Excellency Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde, has approved the total sum of one hundred and fifty-three million, five hundred thousand naira pnly (153,500,00]0) for law graduates 2025 academic batch as bursary allowances. The number of students involved is three hundred and seven (307) at the rate of five hundred thousand naira(500,000) per head. This is the highest. Any state is paying to assist law graduate students in the whole of South West annually. The Oyo State Scholarship board under the Chairman,Rt Hon Atilola Moroof Olawale, has scheduled the commencement of screening of the students from Monday, 27-04-2026 to Thursday,30-04-2026 at the board conference room ministry of education,secretariat Ibadan by 10:00am daily. Each student should come along with all the relevant particulars already disseminated to them through their union representatives. The leadership of Oyo state students union(Fossu),members of the press, and the general public are hereby notified.

Atiku has no plans to step down for Peter Obi. He is likely to influence the primaries with significant financial backing.
Peter Obi is wealthy but not known for cutting corners. Aregbesola, David Mark, Okonkwo, and Dino are aligned with Atiku.
If Peter Obi loses the primaries and decides to run under another party, a repeat of the 2023 presidential election outcome is likely.
