Where Nigeria is going with the exit of GSK & co, we will need three Dora Akunyilis to save us from fake medicine that'll enter the market.

Rodri was suspended for 2 games and Manchester City lost both. Spurs lose van de Ven and Maddison and they’re already falling apart. Manchester United have been missing their entire first choice back four almost all season. But Pep & Ange are geniuses while Erik is clueless?

Bruno Fernandes recorded his 80th PL goal involvement with the winner against Burnley (46 G, 34 A), the 4th most of any player since his debut. It’s 25th time he’s either scored (16) or assisted (9) a winning goal, behind only Mo Salah and Harry Kane (31 each) since Feb 2020. 🇵🇹 He’s just inevitable isn’t he. #MUFC

For the record, I have no regrets about any of my choices. I don't regret choosing this career, no matter how much it has cost me. I don't regret choosing Ghana as my safe haven despite having immediate access to the whole world. I don't regret living on my feet instead of existing on my knees. I made every choice I made because it is exactly what I wanted to do, not what someone else wanted or advised me to do. If I die today, I'll be very satisfied with the life I've had. My nightmare is that I will someday lie on my deathbed and realise that I saw nothing, did nothing, changed nothing, experienced nothing and generally had a nothing life. People like me have already seen and had the best of everything the world has to offer - we were born into the best of it and we deliberately chose to chart a different path for ourselves because that's what bored, rebellious rich kids do. If they don't change the world, who will? Modupe in Ikorodu? The people like the short fellow who spent years impersonating a lawyer and leveraging his relationship with Aliyu Gebi to gather the social and economic capital to escape the poverty he was born into in Ojota and move his family to Milton Keynes, could never hope to understand what fuels people like me - we are outside their entire available scope of reference. The biggest tragedy that poverty has inflicted on such people is that it has robbed them of their imagination. They cannot conceive of the possibility that in Nigeria, other kinds of people different to them exist - people who exist at the 4th and 5th layers of Maslow's hierarchy of needs instead of the 1st and 2nd layers. That absence of imagination is what leads an otherwise educated person to suggest that a successful, British-educated 33 year-old professional with easy access to the world who comes from a family with its own crest, registered corporation and Annual General Meeting, does what he does because he is "looking for asylum". One can only hope the innocent kids growing up in Milton Keynes will at least have more of an imagination than their hapless parents whose minds are still trapped in the Face-Me-I-Face-You on Olatunji Street, Ojota.
