Um homem de 20 anos invadiu o local de trabalho da ex-companheira, pulou a catraca e a agrediu violentamente dentro de um elevador. As imagens são revoltantes e mostram a vítima tentando desesperadamente fugir de um agressor que não aceita o fim do ciclo. O que evitou uma tragédia maior foi a coragem gigante de uma segunda mulher, que se colocou à frente da vítima e interveio fisicamente para interromper os golpes e protegê-la. A pergunta que fica é: por que os nossos espaços de ganha-pão ainda são lugares de tamanha vulnerabilidade para nós? A proteção real das mulheres precisa vir da transformação profunda dessa estrutura que permite que homens se sintam donos dos nossos corpos e das nossas vidas. Toda solidariedade à vítima e um reconhecimento profundo à trabalhadora que arriscou a própria integridade para socorrê-la!

@isaiah_bb Private school vouchers are one of the starkest little evils that sticks out to me in this admin. Everyone knows we’re facing teacher shortages, underfunded schools, and a near educational crisis already, and their answer is to defund schools more? Its just. Depressing.

Private school vouchers are, on the whole, not something that’s a huge priority given everything happening, but in terms of their symbolism and what they mean, are amongst the absolute worst examples of the ruling class’ taking whatever meager resources the working class has.
