@Tryton_Cloaque Looks great, you have a strong base here. It looks like it could use a bit more excitement, you have some low hanging fruit like adding screen shake and whatnot.
If you're interested in more feedback, feel free to DM me
Great, I've pretty much coded all the content for my demo.
I'm looking for someone who's up for it to help me fine-tune it so it feels as smooth and exciting as possible while I'm drawing the sprites!
If you're interested, let me know!

@challacade I like the little wave when the player jumps in.
Did you think of doing something similar to the box? Or maybe dropping it fully for a frame or two?
@tsitskidev Looks awesome! Could be cool if it started shooting at the ground between the player and itself and swept closer, so the player actually sees the bullets getting closer to them. 🔥
What the bug... Just days away from dropping the demo and dumbass bugs are still finding new ways to surprise us. It stopped being funny a while ago, but not gonna lie, this one got me. store.steampowered.com/app/4277540/Ki…
@equal0001 Really like the design, reminds me a bit of Zelda TotK! But I was sure the giant green ball was going to be a projectile… feels a bit weird if it isn't.
@Taikwy Still vague! If you want to release on Steam, a prototype must prove the loop is fun & finishable for you.
If you want to make money, it also needs a "commercial hook."
Ultimately, your prototype phase has to answer your biggest design AND product questions.
@cleitoncmachado Looks like an arcadey racer! Maybe add a fun "enemy stomp" mechanic? If you land on an opponent, they get a little stun while you get a small jump and a boost. 🏎️💥
A player sent me this video of a pretty funny bug. They somehow ended up riding on top of an opponent's truck bed all the way to the finish line. The things that happen... 😂

@red_euglena Yeah, moving platforms are trickier than they seem... It looks a bit tight. Consider making them wider, right now, when you do a turnaround, you clear half of the platform
Looks pretty old-school🤩, not optimized for the 3-lane structure most modern maps use.
I do think it would be nice if there were a few more "safe" spaces. Currently, almost every corner of the map has multiple long sightlines, maybe break a couple of them up?
Also, if those round things on the floor are pickup points, you've got to put one right on the bridge! It's the most visible and dangerous point on the map (classic high risk, high reward)
