Watching Jaguar commit brand suicide is like watching a slow train derailment. I can’t look away. I do product planning in the automotive industry. It’s my job to know drivers (not “users”) and define product strategies based on their wants and needs. I know for a fact whatever the hell this is, it does not reflect the people who buy Jaguars. How does a company get hijacked by marketers who are so disconnected from their customers? How did an entire company sit back and watch a rogue team of woke agency kids drive their iconic brand off a cliff? Why did no one stop them?

@WilliamJHague Thanks for your heartfelt affection and self-deprecation. It's a lovely antidote to the partisanship of our age. Politics - at its best - is always about public service & making the world a better place. And the difference across the aisle is simply about the means, not the ends.
