You ever notice how selecting an item from the macOS right-click menu delays its exit? Yeah, turns out our brains sometimes need that additional 200-400ms moment of pause to register what just happened on screen. Here's another good example I was just working on:

Matte is getting device rotation detection when recording from devices. It will know when you rotate the device and add the animation automatically. The only thing I did in this example was add the zoom clip.

Reminder Great design starts from a solid foundation — e.g. hierarchy, typography, spacings, functionality and visual balance. Your design should feel satisfying to look at before you even apply any effects or branding.

The Phantom Studios site is incredible. From load to navigation, pure joy. Immersive, cinematic, world-building at a level that's hard to beat among studio sites. Normally I'm not a fan of audio effects on websites, but here it just works. I had to nominate them for the Mobbin Awards.

@mrwcjoughin @its_shevi @Apple Uhh thats not how it works man, the monitor still renders 5k pixels regardless if you set it to 2560p or 1920p resolution

@dvtzo @its_shevi Understand there are alternatives, but it is downright criminal to have a 5K screen and not have it set to that. It defeats the object completely. I will have to get a LG or Dell screen when the time comes, but it’s pity @Apple has removed there option

Apple just told me the Pro Display XDR is discontinued so that means. The new Studio Display XDR ($3,299) replaces it entirely I guess it’s better specs, $1,700 cheaper, and built for 2026. No more 32” they said smaller is better 😉 7 years and one generation. Rest easy big fella 🫡 #Apple #ProDisplayXDR #StudioDisplayXDR

99% of people who’s complaining about Apple discontinuing the Pro XDR 32” didn’t even wanna buy it when it was available.

@mrwcjoughin @its_shevi Nah theres still tons of value with 5k on 1920px = Higher PPI. Theres plenty of 32" alternatives out there, e.g. Asus ProArt 6K or Kuycon

@dvtzo @its_shevi Which completely defeats the point of having a 5K screen. I need more screen real estate but I also need to read the text - so the only way to do that is to get a bigger 5K screen
