Cursor just launched Composer 2 - their own model. It's 10× cheaper than Opus 4.6 and supposed to rival it. I've been using it for a few days, I don't have any skewed graphs to show you but from a pure vibes POV I can tell you it's pretty good™ My litmus test right now is if it can build a 3D Printable model with Manifold CAD. I build a Gif zoetrope generator and it did fantastic.

For anyone wondering who this 0.07% Junta is (How do I know, cos I once had this random urge to travel to North Korea & ended up doing a deep dive): The 0.07% are almost never "No" votes. In North Korean elections, you do not tick a box; you take a printed ballot with 1 name on it & drop it in a box in an open room. To vote No, you have to go to a separate secret booth & cross the name out with a red pen while being watched by security. These are people who are physically unable to reach the box. We are talking about citizens working on deep-sea fishing vessels, laborers in Siberian logging camps/those who died in the 48 hrs leading up to the vote but had not been processed out of the local registry yet.

ChatGPT voice recognition is leagues above Grok. They can't even compare. I'll talk mainly in English using words from three or four different languages and it will pick up everything properly. Grok struggles with just regular english unless I enunciate extremely clearly.

@awwstn had the same issue when trying to get something for my openclaw to access meetings. was sad to learn the mcp was the only way. everyone’s moving away from mcp’s and an api/cli would work much better
