I just spent a couple of days building my own system for something similar. It takes Linear issues or a bunch of tasks as a simple text list and then runs my preferred workflow for each (a couple of independent plans, GPT-5.3 to implement, then a couple of independent reviews and fixes).

@dvyio You can! But credits are usually easier if you just need more usage vs juggling two accounts: developers.openai.com/codex/pricing

@romainhuet Hi Romain! Is there an official stance on having multiple Pro accounts for Codex? I know many people do have multiple, but I'd prefer a green light before I create another account.

About 30% of GPT-5.4 traffic in Codex is going out in /fast mode.
It looks like frontier intelligence at 1.5X speed and 2X the price has PMF.
What is the highest speed / price ratio that you would be willing to pay for?

@liz @thsottiaux Honestly? I'm too afraid to try it again. I need all the usage I can squeeze out so I'm just sticking with 5.3 while I know I'm likely to hit the limits.

We have found one issue that leads to some users seeing inconsistent usage across sessions but it is quite rare, affecting less than 1% of users. We are working on a mitigation and continuing the investigation.
For the rest we are not seeing evidence of higher usage consumption other than the advertised token cost increase of GPT-5.4 being 30% higher than GPT 5.2 and GPT-5.3-Codex.

hey @trq212 there's a bug in CC where after approving a plan claude will keep asking you to reapprove the plan or it mistakenly thinks you want to make edits to the plan

I know OpenAI said 5.4 costs more but is more efficient but I'm not sure I believe them. I burning through my rate limits much faster than 5.3 and I'm not doing anything different. I'm not seeing the efficiencies they are claiming.

Does anybody know if you can have multiple Codex and/or Claude Code accounts on the same machine? Would OpenAI or Anthropic challenge/ban this, or restrict usage across them?
Looking to separate work/personal accounts on the same machine.

@mkurman88 I ran out of weekly usage on my Pro last week and ended up buying ~10,000 credits. I needed to in order to complete the work, but I thought I'd get far more use out of that amount.
