@levelsio @Jesper_Bee Be careful leaving those bathroom fans running. They’re known to start fires.

🌡️ Update on the CO2 bedroom saga
I tried this tip by @jesper_bee
We have a bathroom in the bedroom with a vent (for removing humidity after showering), so I kept the door open and vent on
Anyway it worked CO2 at night peaked at 850ppm, still a bit high but almost half of before with window closed, improvement
Sleep was 95% on WHOOP and gf 91% on OURA (inb4 cancelled for tracking things *omg so neurotic*)
Will try window open + bathroom vent open tonight but again sound outside at night is an issue
The real solution is an inward vent tube to actual bedroom though, as I think the bathroom vent is outward and doesn't get us to 400ppm CO2 by itself
Nice fresh air 💨

J@Jesper_Bee
Get a proper vent in your bathroom, leave the doors slightly ajar, about 20 cm is enough depending on the amount of people inside. Fan noise can be fairly low, some distance from bathroom to your bedroom helps. Most HVAC draws in air from the roof of a building. Particles, pollution etc. is drastically reduced higher up. Above 7th floor and you’re usually good.

@Hacksore @CardPurchaser Horse people are on another level

I still haven't solved the CO2 bedroom challenge
You open the window and you wake up from a 6am garbage truck or barking dogs and sunlight
You close it, you suffocate in 1200 ppl at 5am
I guess you really need some mini tube in your wall with a vent that opens and closed based on internal CO2 but how do I build that?

@MIDIDesigner @jacobtechtavern That’s how we used to do it in the old days. Got real complicated real fast once they made the phone slightly taller lol.
English

@DanielStormApps @jacobtechtavern I think if I could go back again, I wouldn't use auto layout either. I would use frame-based layout always.
I've never seen a slightly complicated project that doesn't produce auto layout warnings on run.
English

@jacobtechtavern I used to do it the same way. Storyboard one to one with a VC. Once AutoLayout makes sense in your brain it’s not needed. Def helps learn AutoLayout though.

@DanielStormApps When I was getting started, I didn't hate doing one storyboard per screen, but I don't think I'd go back.

we're working on a new photo search engine called Angles. it's focused on doing one thing well: finding photos + videos by visual similarity.
here is raw, unedited footage of me going through my 80,000 photo camera roll *in realtime* with text-to-image search, image-to-image search, "find similar" inside of a photo, and "live search" with the camera. all done with local models and completely private. auto-growing albums coming soon :-)
Angles has been exceptionally useful for my friends who do creative work. when words fail to describe what you are looking for, you can simply tap on any asset and instantly see everything else like it across your entire library.
we're in early beta - if you want access please send a DM to @patinasystems with your testflight email! i have spots available for another 50 people

@mohsinkhawas @_Zojka Eh I’d rather just pay than maintain that lol

@DanielStormApps @_Zojka I am using VLC offline mode, thanks to AI hype era my terminal has YouTube downloaders and strip music video, audio from YouTube and use it on VLC.
