Nick.eth just confirmed on the ENS Forum that the new .eth pricing will be implemented no vote.
Meanwhile, others (including 184.eth) said this require a vote.
So what’s going on?
This looks like a classic ENS DAO
They know nothing, do nothing, and everyone nodding.
Tie pricing changes to ENSv2 and force an “all or nothing” decision.
Don’t like the new pricing?
Then you don’t get ENSv2.
And you still believe in this project

Complicated and pointless, here's the guide to fixing ENS
1) Show some respect to your ACTUAL customers - the speculators
2) Drop 3L & 4L pricing (leave 5L+ as it is, give it chance to breathe)
3) Do your f****** job and grow the the thing (don't stamp on the head of support)

Seems some confusion, discount levels would apply based on how long you have remaining on your registration. E.g. So you can keep your name registered for 5 years, and keep extending only a year at a time (every year) for 40% discount. Will tweet something better tomorrow.
