Four guys who in an ideal world would be at 1B or DH (Vlad, Springer, Santander, Okamoto) seems like too many, if you ask me. Obviously you can put one in a corner OF spot and Okamoto at 3B, but it'll be interesting to see how a team that so prioritizes defence navigates that.

@AndrewStoeten Like one more tiny bite. That WS was a toss-up and 2 outs away. They don’t get to hang the banner, but this season was an amazing gift. These are rare and to be on the losing end of one of the best WS, is freaking insane.

I’d have liked that season more if the Jays had won that game, sure. But kind of in the same way that I’d have liked a filet mignon more if it had one more bite. It was still pretty fucking good!

The 2025 Blue Jays have been beating the odds for months. Overcoming playoff odds that dipped below 25% in May, beating the Yankees despite Aaron Judge finally looking superhuman in the playoffs, coming back from 2-0 SEA, coming back in Game 7, and doing much of that without Bo.
