For the first time in memory, a US president visits China and it is clear that China is the greater power in that relationship; the bigger military power, the bigger economic, scientific and industrial power, and the better liked country globally. A huge shift happened, but we are not yet fully aware that it did happen because it didn't involve great violence.

Per CBS News, U.S. officials say Pakistan allowed Iranian military aircraft to park at Nur Khan air base, just outside Islamabad, potentially shielding them from American airstrikes.
Iran also moved civilian aircraft to Afghanistan. Both moves appear designed to protect remaining Iranian aviation assets from the expanding conflict.

@EdKrassen We won Afghanistan in the first two weeks and the decided to stay to nation build. We won Iraq in the first few weeks and then tried to stay and nation build - without the BATH party - mistake. Sounds like, the political part is the part we suck at.

This guy is using the left hand lane , which is open. There is a mile long backup and everyone is over in the right hand lane.
He drives all the way up until he has to merge.
Some people are saying what a jerk he is for not getting in line like everyone else, but a great many people are saying that the cars in the right lane merged into one lane too soon and that if they had used the left lane, instead of being a mile backup it would have been a half a mile backup.
What’s your take? Do you think he was correct in using the left lane and merging up at the front or should he have merged right and got in line way in the back like everyone else?
