Today I went to Rangpur to buy our daily necessities
Today, while doing daily shopping in Bangladesh, I realized again that cashless payments are now becoming a normal part of people's lives.
Almost all shops now allow quick digital payments through QR payment, mobile banking, debit/credit cards and bKash, Nagad, Rocket and various banking apps.
The people at the shop were also quite happy when I paid with QR. They said that now people are more accustomed to digital payments than before because it is fast, easy and hassle-free.
When talking about crypto payments, they said that although it is not yet officially launched in Bangladesh, stablecoin and crypto payments can be an effective solution for daily transactions if the right regulations and compliance framework are in place in the future.
