MY $PALU POSITION UPDATE I'm still in and will be holding through $PANW earnings in 1 hour. Honestly, I like everything I'm seeing. Today's dip is a good thing and its faring well compared to some other software stocks. A few high volume 1min green candles in the last hour show there's a lot of buyers still entering. My general feeling is still the same: the market is rewarding category leaders doing even better ($SNOW $DELL $HPE $NOW $NET $DDOG etc). The main arguments I've been hearing against holding: - It's already ran up a lot - It's always dipped after previous earnings - $ZS crashed so this category is bad But that's all elementary-level pattern matching and analyzing the past. Fundamentally the world has changed in the last few months due to Mythos. This is not 2024 anymore where companies are budgeting security like a nice to have. The CEO has been going on a tear on podcasts and industry events and probably many sales calls pitching their Next Gen Security product. That's the organic growth story and hopefully, margin expansion. My belief is companies are probably in a "buy it now" stage of fomo and signing up with category leaders as fast as they can. So hopefully this thesis shows up in their guidance today. Keep in mind though the options implied move is now 10.5% so $PALU could move +/ 21% here. I feel comfortable with that given my $PALU position is up ~18% so a miss will just reset things back to Friday. But if you're feeling antsy, could always de-leverage and just swap $PALU for $PANW to not deal with the 2x multiplier. My earnings coin flip record has been 1/3 this year: - $IREN Q1 📉 - $IREN Q2 📈 - $HIMS Q2 📉 Maybe this one finally brings it to 50/50?
