🌎 New research from the @rhodium_group tracking clean energy investment across the entire globe: cleaninvestmentmonitor.org/reports/global… 👍 The Good: Clean investment reached $1.96 TRILLION in 2025, tripling the amount invested just seven years ago. 👎 The Bad: However, investment growth has slowed somewhat in the past two years, rising only 7% in 2025 after a 28% jump in 2023. This is primarily due to a decline in global manufacturing investment (the types of projects we track in our Clean Economy Works), which dipped down by 40% from 2023's peak levels.

Solar power is clean, affordable, and a verifiable catalyst for job growth. That was one message Georgia lawmakers heard from Olivia Amyette, the founder of both Infinite Energy Advisors and the Solar Knowledge Institute. One of E2's youngest Chapter Directors can now add a new accomplishment to her impressive resume: in-person advocate with state legislators! American labor built clean American energy to lower electricity bills for 350,000 American homes. @Orsted's Revolution Wind project is already delivering cheap, reliable energy to consumers! apnews.com/article/trump-… This massive offshore wind project is an excellent example of how clean energy delivers quality jobs and affordable energy, proving once again that what's good for the economy can be good for the environment.

IL has a chance to be an EV leader. We're asking Illinois business leaders to sign onto a letter we'll send to the Illinois General Assembly in support of SB3529. Similar laws in other states have lowered the cost of installing EV charging infrastructure for businesses and communities by 25%. This is why it's impossible to separate the economy from the environment ⬇️ “If the warming rate of the past 10 years continues, it would lead to a long-term exceedance of the 1.5° limit of the Paris Agreement before 2030,” says Stefan Rahmstorf. “How quickly the Earth continues to warm ultimately depends on how rapidly we reduce global CO₂ emissions from fossil fuels to zero." on.e2.org/3OUKM1y

Our friends at @USCleanPower released their 2025 Q4 Clean Power Quarterly Market Report last week -- which showed some really promising annual and long-term trends for clean energy. Clean Power Dominates: Solar, battery storage, and wind have provided 82% of all new capacity added to the grid over the last five years (2020-2024). Battery Boom: Energy storage installations were 41% higher than 2024 — the previous record year. Read their full report: on.e2.org/4suwGCy

The key to meeting skyrocketing energy demand in America might be less about generation and more about storage. Using data from @BCSECleanEnergy, @CanaryMediaInc highlights a new record for batteries in 2025: on.e2.org/4cb6Pe1

How do you guarantee 100 hours of clean energy -- even when weather reduces renewable generation? You build a @FormEnergyInc 300 MW / 30 GWh iron-air battery system. @Google and @XcelEnergyMN inked a deal to bring a HUGE battery to power a data center (along with 1.4 GW of wind and 200 MW of solar) in a way that shields ratepayers from being saddled with any of the costs. @CanaryMediaInc has the details: on.e2.org/3ZYe4P3

What happens when an administration makes it difficult to build the cheapest and fastest energy source available? Investors cancel projects and hardworking Americans lose out on good-paying job opportunities. We've tracked the flow of money and jobs from the clean energy sector for the last four years and 2025 was ROUGH: on.e2.org/4qk2vfV
