They tried to kill Pat Phelan off many times... I wonder if the same could happen here too? Make it look like Theos died, we all move on, Todd starts to heal. a couple of years later, something happens whether that's a weird series of phone calls, or Danielle who's now a safe place for Todd tells him that she had a break in xx nights ago. Danielle says it was weird because the only thing that was stolen was something sentimental belonging to Theo that he'd never bothered to go back for because it remaining where she and the kids were living was part of his mindgames of manipulation. then around October of that year we could have Theo return, not with any love or kindness [even in his warped sense] but pure unstoppable rage, leading to one final showdown between Todd, Theo, and Danielle.
