we did this at @lifiprotocol last year - was a whole year challenge where every employee got 1k USDC in the wallet
we had different categories of scoring such as no of chains, dexs and bridges used, defi protocols ranged by complexity and in the end the % return on actions
was really fun and i think it helped a lot of people to get their feet wet - a lot of good convos and questions poped from it - a lot of insights for less native part of the team as well
in the end - mfer @0xJord4n won by doing a 25x with solana memecoins - absolute chad
also worth noting - everything above the original 1k was paid out as a bonus to anyone that managed to get in green
if u lost, u lost was intended to be an expense for the company to help everyone be more active onchain

Last week the Movement leadership team did something I think every blockchain team should do: give every employee 100 USDC with the sole purpose of testing and using dapps deployed on Movement. It's a small gesture but I believe it really goes a long way in making sure the people overseeing the engineering, community, ecosystem, etc., development of the chain have the same skin in the game as the builders and users. Everyone has various risk appetites, dapps they engage with more than others (i.e. maybe someone is more interested in playing games than trading, etc), so it’s easy to understand that there are some dapps that people won’t use. But by giving everyone a free $100, ecosystem exploration becomes more of a fun and engaging way to see the fruits of the builders’ labors. Should I make a guide on how I’m spending my $100? 👀
