@Robin_Hood1917 @Narjes_Rahmati @Mizgol Unfortunately the leadership of those countries is more loyal to their wealth and privileges than to their actual countries, and will just pilfer the treasuries and abscond elsewhere when the heat gets too hot.

@OhbythewayHi @ripplebrain The civilians on the side of the US and Israel are gonna suffer far more than the people who have been sanctioned most of their lives. That's why such threats don't work against Iran, as they have much less to lose than the US, or Israel, or the Gulf monarchies.

Oh Bytheway@OhbythewayHi·
@ripplebrain I hope the stupid Zionists who started this war are happy. They forced Iran to respond, this is very bad. The civilians on both sides are going to suffer.

@NicholasGuyatt @lymanstoneky Are they forgetting who our president is. He hates seeing the mkt go down and to this point has always reversed course when things really get tough. Everything could change tomorrow.

The FT now reporting that, even without the energy shocks, there's a pretty good chance that the closure of Hormuz will pop the AI bubble and lead to a stock market crash

@ripplebrain Same. If there's any country that needs the NATO alliance to intervene in for the benefit of humanity/world peace/non-proliferation/etc, it's Israel.

@AchalG9 @TMT_arabic Yes, but I wouldn't say it's indirect, as they knew what they were doing. Same with the mass shooting psy-op programs they've been running since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

@bitchesbeobese @CarolinaLion2 While I agree time is a factor here, the difference is that due to munitions exhaustion, there's not much prep anyone can do to account for the Houthis entering the fray.

@bitchesbeobese @CarolinaLion2 Them is the Houthis, and them waiting is advantageous on account of not wanting to get bogged down with minor strikes when major strikes could present themselves.

@dhdh9898 @ripplebrain They're facsimile armies of what the west used in Iraq in the 2000s, meaning they're even shittier than modern western armies, because by-and-large western armies aren't a LARP despite the deficiencies brought about by neoliberalism.

@ripplebrain i still don't get what army the gulf countries have. they're entirely run by the Brits and Americans with some Australians mixed in. Their entire military doctrine is pay off the Western countries and let them die for them

@Defence_Index THAAD missing two ballistic missiles doesn’t make it a bad system. No system on Earth has a 100% interception rate. Even Russia’s S-400 has struggled in Ukraine, and it’s not even dealing with large scale ballistic missile threats.

🇺🇸 BREAKING: A preliminary investigation has identified multiple malfunctions in the THAAD, raising serious concerns over its performance. The system reportedly failed to intercept incoming missiles during recent strikes on Arad and Dimona, despite being deployed specifically for that role. Source: Maariv

@bitchesbeobese @CarolinaLion2 TBF to them, you go to war with the army you have, not the army you want. In the Houthis' case, them waiting is actually strategically advantageous to both themselves and the Iranians.

@CarolinaLion2 Without their desalination plant, the Saudis will die of thirst. The Houthis should have joined a week ago. Not sure what is taking so long.

@Meow_Meow_2020 @CarolinaLion2 Yeah I don't hold high hopes for that, because besides the Colombian mercenaries, it's basically a facsimile of the army the US used to invade Iraq back in the 2000s...which is the same sort of army that FPV drones have nigh completely done in at this point.

RIP Robert Mueller. You were a specialist on call for covering up US state crimes. You hid the truth about 9/11, anthrax, BCCI, Lockerbie, and Trump’s ties to Deutsche Bank. Now you’re dead and disgraced. Our country is much worse for you having lived. In the end was it worth it?

@ripplebrain Terrible island, terrible people. The Maori drove a giant eagle extinct because they killed off its food supply, now they beg for handouts everytime someone wants to build a fencepost. And the locals? Insufferable, Australians but dumber and gayer.
