‼️ Last chance to submit your abstract. Present your research, demonstrate your scientific expertise, and gain international recognition at the 40th EACTS Annual Meeting. 🎥 Mario Gaudino, Editor-in-Chief, shares key elements of a strong abstract. Avoid including excessive data, as this can overwhelm reviewers. Focus on the most important findings and present them in a clear, logical order. Use illustrations where appropriate, as a well-chosen figure can be decisive in the acceptance of an abstract. This year, abstracts that highlight new science and help move the field forward will stand out. We look forward to presentations that inspire debate and drive progress in the coming years. 📅 Submission deadline: 30 April 2026. Submit your abstract today and follow the full submission guidelines 🔗 eacts.org/40th-eacts-ann…

What does the latest EUROMACS update mean for clinical data and research? 📊 Important updates have been made to the EUROMACS registry, strengthening its role in supporting research and improving clinical outcomes in mechanical circulatory support. The new data dictionary introduces updated definitions of adverse events, greater data granularity for temporary mechanical circulatory support, and the removal of redundant variables to enhance data quality and completeness. With improved workflows and simplified data entry, the registry is now more efficient and user-friendly, ensuring it remains aligned with international standards and fit for purpose. Today, over 60 centres contribute data to EUROMACS, supporting research on survival, complications, and treatment strategies in advanced heart failure, with more than 90 studies already conducted. We want to thank all EUROMACS Committee members for their ongoing work in developing the registry. 🔎 Explore the new data dictionary 🔗 zenodo.org/records/171447… 👉 Register your interest 🔗 airtable.com/appRF0GOfjFh6R…
