5-year tenure gift. Twitch has changed a lot in the past 5 years... not all change was for the better and it can be exhausting to try to do your best on behalf of the community because it also has to be "balanced with the business." there are still people there who really care.

@Malcolm_Ocean maybe the present experience is actually resistance, forgetting, longing. separation is possibly but not on this side of life, so maybe it really points to something that is in the motion of happening. so not necessarily a final state but a direction in. dunno

As a new parent, I spend a lot of time changing diapers and feeding the baby. 15 months ago I wasn't doing any of this. I felt busy then too, so where did all this childcare time come from? I analyzed the Census Bureau's American Time Use Survey to find out how most parents do it. The answer: less sleep and less screen time. The funny thing is, parents report being pretty happy about this tradeoff.

i just don't understand how this simple search for applications can be broken in macOS

bought several physical gift cards (for teachers) from @amazon online, thinking that would be better than buying them from a random store. order status said they were all delivered but 3 were missing. 1 of them i gifted and the recipient said it didn't have funds 💀 is it just me
