CONFRONTATION AT SEA The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has released video footage of Monday’s confrontation in Ayungin Shoal, where it said a Philippine Navy personnel was injured after being struck on the head with a wooden baton by a member of the China Coast Guard. According to the AFP, the encounter began when a China Coast Guard rigid hull inflatable boat approached BRP Sierra Madre before Philippine Navy rubber boats drove it away.
