Went to see my friends at Eastern Sporting today - a great family gun shop at Baddow in Essex - to take some more pics of the Beretta 694 for a feature in progress. Here is Alan pictured with the gun and Shane with my 695 which he will be refinishing for me. @easternsporting

MARKSMAN SIMULATOR. shooting a pheasant at 20, 25 & 30 yards (as well as much longer ranges) - we experimented with lead. About a yard worked at 20 and 25, but move to 30 yards and you need double that on the average bird. Food for thought. @easternsporting #ComputerModellingLead

Had a great afternoon with Paul Payne and young Reg on the brilliant Marksman shotgun simulator @easternsporting. I am researching the dynamics of High Bird shooting at the moment. Most shoot under and behind. Lift well and keep the barrels on line & MOVING. #positiveshooting
