@Leemac197905 Cotton’s numbers would drop as wouldn’t have to play so many minutes. Different players, Davis traditional PG, Cotton combo guard. I think Davis is the better player and would rather have him, but MVP awards always a bit more up in the air given value to their team aspect.

Kendrick Davis is the best player in the NBL. He just dropped 30/5/10 on Doolittle who most consider the NBL’s best defender in a 20 point blowout of the other form team in the league. Was such a good performance could check out with 5 to go. Crazy. #NBL26

@jacksonelt @SydneySeaKings I think if you swap Davis and Cotton, Sydney would still be great. Adelaide as we saw last year barely got into the playoffs with Davis.

@eathb @SydneySeaKings I don't see Cotton as clearly being the best tbh. Davis lifts the entire team, which is one aspect of MVP-level play. Does Cotton lift his team or do all the hard work for them?

@jacksonelt @SydneySeaKings Yeah that's how I see it playing out. Cotton is very clearly the best player in the league this season, not sure if anyone else should win MVP.

@eathb @SydneySeaKings Totally different 36ers team last season, useless comparison. Most of the arguments for Cotton seem to be his coach isn't as good, team isn't as good and his GM isn't as good, so I guess Goorj wins COY, Kings win the chip and Bryce wins MVP.

@SydneySeaKings Kendric plays on super team and Bryce does not. Sixers barely scrapped into the playoffs last year with Davis playing Cotton's role.

EuroLeague team Partizan recently made an inquiry about buying out Adelaide 36ers big-man Nick Rakocevic from his contract, sources told ESPN. Rakocevic had a desire to remain in Adelaide for a potential championship run, while the 36ers had no interest in selling him.

@nak_98 Mate don't defend this. QLD has more juniors playing footy than NSW, SA, regional VIc and WA. Give those states an academy or priority access too or remove Northern academies.

Ranking clubs on how much they have benefited from father-son & Academy picks. Pies & Cats on top. Brisbane FS less than 7 clubs, Giants & Swans had more Academy, Suns only now producing recruits. Results are from 1986 (Carlton no SOS) & do not include players who move clubs.
