(To be clear, I don’t fault our school district. They’re doing their darnedest to navigate this leaderless sea, for which I am most grateful. But how did we get here?!)

At what point did the consensus opinion of a bunch of elementary public school parents come to be the way we make life-and-death infection control recommendations?
