Gov. Kelly, when asked whether the inclusion of sped funding in ESA's sweetened the deal for her said she doesn't "respond well to game playing and bribery."
She said the lawmakers who orchestrated this will "live to regret it." #ksleg

Lots of talk about low test scores today. Yesterday in education, we learned that kids participating in state honors ensembles scored 8.6 points higher on the ACT. Maybe instead of talking about vouchers, we should be talking about investing in music ed. #ksleg #ksed

Hearing #PublicEducation referred to as a monopoly is appalling.
Public education isn’t a business. Public education is an equalizer.
And I very much think we need to ask ourselves who would prioritize/benefit from diverting funds from an equalizer. #ksleg #ksed
