So the latest update on the Nut Fairy is when she was seen at the first hospital she was diagnosed with a tibial plateau fracture which we could clearly see on the X-ray and which apparently they do nothing for apart from rest and painkillers. When she got home, she went to our local hospital had all the same x-rays done again and they couldn’t find a fracture! So once again, sent home with painkillers and a hand splint. Today we went to the doctors as the leg is red hot and even more swollen so she is now on antibiotics as the leg is most likely infected. The fracture clinic have just phoned and she now has now been called back for an appointment this Thursday to see an orthopaedic surgeon. I will of course keep you updated but feel like we are no further forward 😔🐾🐾❤️ As Isabella said “ grandma, it could be worse you could be dead “ 🤣

Afternoon folks, it’s Mike here the Nut Elf. I’m afraid I have some bad news about the Nut Fairy, she had an accident this week a fall from a bike. I have never seen her in so much pain and unfortunately Isabella saw it all! She has made a mess of her right hand and arm but thankfully it’s just swelling and bruising however her left leg took the brunt and she has a Tibial Plateau Fracture that’s caused her whole leg to swell and bruise. She’s on various painkillers and under orders to take it easy but you know her she’s still working from her bed. I think it’s going to be a long recovery and various appointments at the hospital. Please don’t worry she has me and our son Jamie plus a good friends network for help and support. I will of course keep you updated and I’m sure she’ll be back chasing Isabella again soon 😔🙏🦡🐾🐾❤️
