@bdublu @JohnMFodera That’s really ashame. I’m afraid when producers adopt this kind of pricing strategy they move their wines away from those that appreciate them for their beauty and unique artistry to those who value them as show things based on luxury price tags.

@JohnMFodera @ebevan_d We inquired about a visit for a tasting in April but her prices were through the roof. 300 euro for a Rosso and Brunello tasting with cheese. We visited three other estates tasted great wines and spent considerably less than that including a tremendous lunch at Tenuta Fanti.

@JohnMFodera A blend of sangiovese and other rare varieties from a small vineyard on her estate. I think it also blends vintages, hence the “over time” or “with time” from choltempo. Less $$$ than her normal Brunello release.

@fullygodwin @TurleyWines Thanks. I guess that’s their Estate PS, which I love. But then I love all their Petite Syrahs. I’m holding on to all the Hayne Vineyard ones I have because they’re supposed to age well.
