I find new Claude models come with weird words pretty often. They generate text that is overly complex and often hard to understand.

As I’m blogging more, I think my favorite AI workflow is to brain dump and then have AI review. There’s a nice loop there that feels very human in the middle but much more rapid than if I went it alone.

@chrisfromthelc Handling repairs like this is one of my favorite things. I recently replaced an air intake to fix a check engine light that was telling me the mixture was too lean.

I spent 4 hours this weekend pulling the intake plenum and fuel rail to replace an unreachable sensor on my truck. Book time is 8 hours (@$200/hour), plus a 20% markup on parts.
Four hours and $60 on parts was well-spent time and money. You can just do things, you know?

Since my last post about fixing my HVAC capacitor ruffled so many feathers, here's another one... We used to own a Mercedes GL450. The front right air suspension failed, so I took it to a shop. Quote: $3,300. I ordered the complete air strut online for under $200, spent about 6 hours in the garage with a couple of floor jacks and basic hand tools, and fixed it myself. Was it more involved than replacing an HVAC capacitor? Absolutely. Did it require learning something new? Yep. That's the point. We've convinced too many people they're incapable of fixing anything. A little research, the right tools, and a willingness to learn can save you thousands of dollars. Know your limits. Work safely. But don't outsource every problem just because someone told you it's "too difficult or too dangerous."

Can I just run a normal command in Claude Code - like.. instead of asking it, I just type the command and it runs it? Or do I always have to have a separate tab open? It'd be nice to just not burn tokens interpreting a command but also keep it in the conversational context.

Team worked hard and diligently on this one. Still some more updates to come as well.
As I mentioned in the post, it's the kind of tool that would actually be better if it wasn't needed (and that's our goal). However, one of the biggest strengths of WooCommerce is its incredible flexibility and that does mean that not only bugs in the software, but also conflicts from other plugins, unintentional customization impact (or configuration misteps) can cause unexpected changes to critical flows like Subscriptions.
Visibility is super important for businesses to succeed. That's a message we've heard loud and clear.
