Literally the biggest recent campaigns that have established payments to influencers were the Steyer and Platner campaign (see e.g. Annie Wu), both Fight Agency clients. Look in your own houses for payments to influencers. Projection is a hell of a drug.
I know it's a popular theory with some on the left that all who disagree are bought, but sometimes people just disagree for free.

I will tell this story again: We ran a project with working class women in 2019-2020 near Scranton Pa. Those women related to Trump and Biden. They genuinely didn't even understand the language of other Dems running for Pres (oligarchs anyone?). They thought Dems sounded like elites who looked down on them.
