@Brandon81Hansen @TheBasedTrinity So if we bow to pray it is okay as we recognize God as the Creator. Can we have a cross nearby or a biblical quote in order to create the correct atmosphere to pray as we bow? Music might help as way? (To some people, I personally get super distracted lol)

God was not present in the arc. He was present above it. No one bowed to the power of God. They bowed to God who was LITERALLY present sitting above the arc in the mercy seat. Prove to me that a statue made last year was commanded by God and He said that he would sit above it and commune with us from there.

@eccevicitleo @TheBasedTrinity That would be against the commandment. Now, bowing to God who literally was sitting above the ark (exodus 25:22), that’s ok. If you claim that all statues are the seats where God sits, you’ll have to show me the scripture that states this.

@eccevicitleo @TheBasedTrinity I would guess that would be reasonable. I am still wary of images of God because we don’t know what he looks like, so personally I’m against it. But you should never bow to any image or statue ever.

El término Estado bien puede aplicarse sin miedo a sociedades políticas de la Antigüedad. Por eso se usa el término ciudades-Estado. Obviamente no son moderno ni liberal.

Pero es que el término era de pleno uso siglos antes. De hecho, es común traducir la "República" de Platón como el "Estado".
