Just read @yrschrade article (СЕO @Arcium ), wanted to add a bit more “meat” on top of the core ideas I get that the goal of the article was different and the technical side was intentionally left out. I just want to highlight what tools already exist to make all of this real and which challenges are already partially solved ☔️ The article didn’t really touch on overhead and heavy computation, which is a common issue for this kind of architecture. But it’s worth noting that MXE runs computations in parallel. There is no queue, each MXE environment has its own state. To reduce latency, as mentioned in the docs, you can optimize structures by combining them, so you don’t have to trigger a large number of MPC circuits. ∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼ Yannik quote: ❞ We need to build systems where we can utilize data and execute smart contracts without ever exposing the underlying secrets ❞ How do you balance privacy and compliance? Fair question. How do you run audits if the data is hidden? Institutions still have to follow AML, that’s just reality. The answer is Selective Disclosure. An auditor can access specific computations without exposing the underlying data of other participants. I’ve seen takes on X about liquidity fragmentation in this setup, but it’s important to understand that Arcium is an encryption layer. It doesn’t control liquidity. Liquidity lives on Solana (or other networks in the future) while Arcium handles the computation layer. So the base networks act as coordination layers.
