Rabbi Yehuda Gilad, head of Yeshivat Ma’ale Gilboa in Israel, visited the Palestinian village of Khirbet Humsa in the West Bank following a settler pogrom in which a 29-year-old Palestinian farmer was sexually assaulted, his family was beaten, and hundreds of their sheep were stolen. @Mony_de_Swaan Pienso lo mismo que tú sobre la posición que adoptan, pero estos crímenes son repudiados en general. Hay una condena prácticamente unánime en Israel y eso también hay que decirlo. Y si, estos colonos son una amenaza tanto para los palestinos como para el propio Israel.

Ben Gvir los ha defendido, minimiza siempre los incidentes y los llama "héroes", además de ser directamente responsable de armarlos. En 2023 Smotrich llamo a borrar Huwara del mapa. Creo que la línea es muy delgada y a todas luces inaceptable. Lo que se debería exigir es un rechazo explícito, castigo ejemplar y eso no existe ni de cerca.

No conozco a alguien en Israel que apoye lo que hacen estos colonos. De hecho, hay pocos temas que unen tanto a los israelíes, pues más allá de la ideología política o la creencia religiosa, la inmensa mayoría coincide en la necesidad de juzgar y encarcelar a estos criminales.

🇮🇷🇺🇸🇬🇧 Iran just proved its missiles can reach far beyond the Middle East Iran fired two intermediate-range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-UK military base sitting 4,000 kilometers away in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Neither hit the base, but the message landed harder than any warhead could. Tehran has always publicly claimed its missile range tops out at 2,000 km. This strike attempt doubles that number overnight. The Khorramshahr-4 that likely carried out the attack can also deliver cluster warheads, the same munitions that have been devastating Israeli cities for three weeks. Look at the map. A 4,000 km range from Tehran draws a circle that reaches Paris, London, and most of Europe. After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

Ha renunciado el Sr. Kent y ya su carta la circulan propios y extraños, siempre acríticamente porque acomoda a cierta narrativa muy de moda estos días. - Kent acusa a Israel de llevar a la guerra a Estados Unidos vs Iran. Curioso que un especialista en terrorismo no haya hecho mención de uno solo de los múltiples grupos terroristas financiados por Irán y sus ataques contra su país y sus compatriotas durante décadas. O como si Irán no hubiera lanzado cientos de misiles y drones contra países vecinos o como si Hezbollá no llevara dos semanas lanzando cohetes desde el sur de Líbano. En realidad es buena noticia que renuncie. - Kent acusa a Israel de fabricar la guerra contra Iraq, a pesar de que hay evidencia pública de que el gobierno israelí alertó que se trataba de un error. Curioso que participaron más de 10 países en la coalición e Israel nunca fue uno de ellos. De eso el Sr. Kent, por supuesto, no da explicación alguna. - La esposa del Sr. Kent fue asesinada en Siria por ISIS, el mismo grupo terrorista acusado de miles de muertes en Siria e Iraq, de secuestrar niñas para utilizarlas como esclavos sexuales, de reclutar forzosamente a niños y de destruir patrimonios culturales por todo Oriente Medio. Hasta de eso culpa el Sr. Kent a Israel Sean tantito serios. Si el Sr. Kent ha decidido sacar a pasear a su antisemita (perdón antisionista) al menos háganse un par de preguntas antes de difundir sus mentiras.
