The next time you get an uber, check out the profile of your driver and see if they have the languages they speak listed. I didn't know this was on Uber until today,. My driver spoke Spanish and English. So we had a great Spanish conversation!

Making Japanese->Japanese flash cards for use with Anki/Echo Prof This is the prompt I use: Can you give me 5 example ELI5 descriptions of a word? I'm trying to make Japanese/Japanese flashcards to study from. For each, please write the description, then a `,` character, then the word (in kanji if applicable), then a `/` character between each of the readings (kanji and furigana)? The next line should be the furigana for the description. Then on the line after that, the English translation. If to be fluent in a language means to have a high level of proficiency where you can understand, speak, read, and write in that language with ease, accuracy, and naturalness... Does that mean kids can't be fluent??
