@gotta_pee10 @PwrSlep @mykael_yuddy A vacuum does not apply a force to gas. Gas naturally moves to areas of lower pressure. Which it does with earth too. Just gravity is able to keep the gas close to the planet near it for long enough to create an atmosphere.

Mention one contradiction in science. Just one.

@gotta_pee10 @PwrSlep @mykael_yuddy Earths gravity extends far past the moon, but there is still a lot of vacuum in between earth and the moon. Earths atmosphere exists in equilibrium and is very thin. Vacuums don’t suck, thermodynamics makes gas move towards a vacuum.

@gotta_pee10 @PwrSlep @mykael_yuddy In one of the diagrams you posted it’s the one labeled instantaneous velocity. So sure they object has an acceleration towards the planet but which is changing its velocity to point towards the planet, the object is moving fast enough that the velocity vector

@PwrSlep @mykael_yuddy The issue I'm having is the "not all at once" part. Like I said, if gravity is so weak that you can fight gravity with gravity then it makes no sense why it is strong enough to withstand the negative pressure of a vacuum so strong, it expands faster than light🤔
