@Mjogalvin1 Retrieval practice! It’s gone from deft, responsive activity to a (often but not always) mechanical ‘last week, month, year’… on content children often didn’t understand properly at the time… so can’t recall accurately now… so is 20 min of pen tapping and random bits of spec

Looking for great examples. Unintended negative consequences of good decisions. The toxic mutations. Any good ones to share from the world at large?!

@Kooks283 @Headteacherchat I’ve just finished NPQH with @bestpracticenet and it was great. I was first cohort of reformed version and there were some teething problems which they responded to quickly and effectively. I really, really valued the course: taught content, coaching sessions, face to face days.
