I've released 1.3.10 of the @eclipsepaho #MQTT C client: github.com/eclipse/paho.m… There are no external changes, but I have switched to use the poll system call instead of select, for a number of reasons (the USE_SELECT compile definition will revert).

MQTT 3.1.1 is great for lots of IoT scenarios, but MQTT 5.0 has solutions for many of the "wouldn't it be great if MQTT did that" cases. Learn about MQTT 5.0 from both its creators and users at this webinar.

The #MQTT_SN standardization committee has received a proposal from @ublox for lightweight message integrity protection. It's based on the CoAP COSE approach, intending to be simpler than DTLS. issues.oasis-open.org/browse/MQTT-584.

A new update to the Paho Rust library to follow this month's releases of C, C++ and Go.

A lot of activity on @eclipsepaho recently. New MQTT library releases for Go (v1.3.0), C (v1.3.8), and C++ (v.12.0), with Rust soon to follow.
