뒤돌아보면 저 스스로도 의아하게 느껴지는 점이 하나 있습니다. 저는 단 한 번도 “IonQ 주가가 많이 올라 큰 투자 수익을 얻게 해주세요”, 혹은 “유튜브나 팬딩 컨텐츠 사업으로 더 많은 돈을 벌게 해주세요”라고 기도해본 적이 없습니다. 오히려 요즘 저의 기도 제목은 아주 단순합니다. “제게 지혜를 주세요.” 입니다. 마치 성경 속 솔로몬이 구했던 것처럼 말입니다. 저는 개인적으로 여러 번의 큰 실패를 통해, 제가 어렵게 일궜다고 생각했던 것들이 한순간에 0으로 돌아가는 경험도 해보았습니다. 아마 그렇기에 결국 인생에서 무언가를 얻는 것도, 잃는 것도 내 뜻대로만 되는 것은 아니라는 사실을 조금씩 인정하게 된 것 같습니다. 그래서 저는 결과 자체보다, 그 과정 속에서도 감사함과 평안을 잃지 않는 사람이 되고 싶습니다. 물론 아직 현재 저의 모습은 거기에 도달하기 위해서는 노력이 더 필요한 것 같습니다. 투자라는 세계는 인간의 탐욕과 두려움이 끊임없이 흔드는 곳이지만, 그 안에서도 중심을 잃지 않고 감사와 평안을 지켜가는 저와 투자자 여러분들이 되셨으면 합니다. 행복하기 위해 투자하는데, 투자하면서 오히려 불행해진다면 참 아이러니한 일인 것 같습니다. 돈은 결국 수단일 뿐입니다. 각자 살아가는 목적과 가치관은 다르겠지만, 무엇이 더 중요한 것인지 우선순위를 잃지 않고 살아가는 것이 결국 더 중요한 일이 아닐까 싶습니다. Anthropic이 No.1 AI 스타트업이 되었다는 것이 시사하는 3가지 다음주에 약 $1조 밸류로 투자가 완료되면, Anthropic이 전세계 최대 AI 스타트업에 등극할 것 같습니다. 이게 무슨 의미가 있는 지 3가지로 정리해보겠습니다.  첫째, 앤트로픽이 잘나가야 SK하이닉스도 잘나간다 많은 분들이 SK하이닉스 언제 팔아? 그러면, 빅테크들이 Capex 줄이면. 이라고 대답하시지만, 저는 동의 하지 않습니다. 왜냐하면, SK하이닉스가 잘나가는 이유는 따지고 보면, 앤트로픽 때문이거든요. SK하이닉스는 Nvidia 한테 HBM 팔고 돈 받죠? Nvidia는 무슨돈으로? 빅테크들 Capex할 때 받은 돈으로 근데, 빅테크는 Capex 왜하나요? 앤트로픽이 눈으로 보여주니까. Computing이 돈이라는 것을! 그니까 빅테크가 Capex를 멈출 지 말지를 미리 알려면, 앤트로픽이 어떻게 되는 지를 봐야 한다는 겁니다. 둘째, 1등이 바뀐다는 것은 천재들의 가슴을 뛰게 만든다. 처음에는 OpenAI가 1등인 줄 알았습니다. 얼마후 구글의 Gemini가 1등인 줄 알았죠. 그런데, 저는 요즘에 거의 대부분의 작업을 앤트로픽으로 합니다. 1등이 바뀔 수 있다는 것은 천재들의 가슴을 뛰게 합니다. 공정한 경쟁이 이루어진다는 것이니, 지금이라도 미친듯이 하면,나도 1등할 수 있다는 걸 보여주니까요. 셋째, $1조짜리 회사가 되는데 걸린 시간 최초로 $1조 시총을 달성한 애플은 42년 걸렸습니다. 마이크로소프트 44년, 아마존 24년, 알파벳 22년, 엔비디어도 30년... 그런데, OpenAI가 10년만에 $1조 임박했고, 앤트로픽은 5년만에...! 이건 진짜 엄청난 변화입니다. 누군가에게는 위협이지만, 또 누군가에게는 엄청난 기회겠죠!? 만약 사업을 할 수 있는 용기나 자신이 없다면, 지금은 정말 꼭 투자를 해야 하는 시대입니다.

$IONQ The recent U.S. government quantum computing support announcement appears to be far more than a simple research subsidy program. At its core, this looks like a broader industrial strategy focused on securing domestic quantum manufacturing capability and supply-chain control inside the United States. In that context, IonQ ’s acquisition of SkyWater Technology becomes much more understandable. Many investors have continued asking: “Why did IonQ need to acquire manufacturing capability directly?” The answer may ultimately come down to time. Building a new quantum foundry from scratch requires: Facility construction Cleanroom deployment Equipment installation Process validation Pilot production Yield optimization Even with government support, this process can take years. For example, even if IBM receives $1 billion in government funding, it would still likely need to invest another $1 billion or more of its own capital to build and ramp a new facility. IonQ chose a very different approach. One important detail often misunderstood is the SkyWater acquisition structure itself. This was not simply an “$1.8 billion cash deal.” IonQ’s effective cash exposure is estimated at roughly: 49.2 million shares × approximately $15 per share or about $740 million while much of the remaining value comes through IonQ stock issued at around $20 per share. In other words, instead of spending billions and waiting years to build a foundry from zero, IonQ used a far smaller immediate cash commitment to secure: Existing U.S. manufacturing infrastructure Experienced personnel Operational process know-how Government and defense supply-chain access An already functioning fabrication environment That is a massive difference in timeline. The market is effectively comparing: Spending multiple billions to build a new quantum foundry over several years versus Spending roughly $740 million in effective cash exposure to immediately secure an operational U.S. foundry platform already advancing toward Tape-out D. From this perspective, the SkyWater acquisition is less about vertical integration and more about accelerating the quantum manufacturing timeline by several years. There is also an important regulatory angle. If the U.S. government is supporting multiple domestic quantum manufacturing initiatives, including IBM-led expansion efforts, then concerns about manufacturing concentration become far less significant. That means IonQ may also be moving beyond much of the “monopoly” narrative surrounding the SkyWater acquisition. Ultimately, this is not just a funding story. It is a race to determine: Who secures U.S. quantum manufacturing leadership first Who reaches scalable production first And who can compress the commercialization timeline for quantum computing the fastest.

$IONQ Stock opened at $54.61, traded as high as $61.12 intraday, and still closed up more than 12% on volume that was roughly double normal levels. A move that big usually attracts heavier profit taking. Buyers kept stepping back in instead.

With 91% of S&P 500 companies reporting, 84% have beaten on earnings and 80% on revenue. What's more is the blended growth rate is sitting at 27.7%. Coming in, analysts were pencilling in 13%. This is the strongest earnings growth we've seen since Q4 2021. The naysayers will find something to complain about, they always do. But this is once again, proof positive of something you hear me say frequently. Investing in optimism beats cowering in pessimism.

$IONQ Steady buying all day after last week's earnings move. The stock never really lost momentum after the open. Every pullback kept getting bought fairly quickly.
