I will write about this more at length, but the fact that four of the greatest women in our country -- Michelle Obama, Taylor Swift, Oprah, and Beyonce -- could not put Kamala over the top is a message: an awful lot of voters really are threatened by great women.

This time two weeks ago, many people’s lives were starting to change right in front of them. Some lost their homes, some died, and many are still missing in NC. I think it’s important however to see how far we’ve come. From part of I26 being washed away to now it’s open for local traffic. From two counties running dry of water to now 99% now have flowing clean water. It’s nothing short of amazing and it wouldn’t be this way without the thousands of utility workers and volunteers. This proved that we are still the Volunteer State.

The guys in Big Hungry Gorge rigged a way to bring fuel across the river using a shopping cart. I was told me last night people are using zip lines like this all over the hills for supplies.

VOLUNTEER LIST IN GREENE CO: Thursday 10/3 562 Stephen Brooks Rd Greeneville, TN 37743 bring shovels and gloves 3005 West Allens Bridge Road In need of excavators, shovels, helping hands: Meet at 8:00 AM 6132 Asheville Highway bring shovels and gloves! 232 Memory Lane need hands and equipment to strip walls and floors! 9:00 AM First Baptist Church Roan Mountain: Helping with sorting, deliveries, anything needed anytime from 8am-8pm. Fenders Farm:10am-3pm- bring shovels and wear high boots. Riverview Baptist Church in Erwin needs volunteers to help clean up a church. Start work every day at 8. At 8, you can be shuttled with a van from Love Chapel Christian Church to Riverview.
