@MattWallaceTech What is misunderstood is the data required to make driving decisions. When you drive you are not a mentat observing precise millimetre locations of cars and objects around you. You drive based on mental profiles in your “neural net”, how cars look like turning, changing lane, etc

@Laurieluvsmolly @SamanthaTaghoy Honest curious question: why do all people of certain demographic have to be categorised, be grouped together and abbreviated? Of course people with a conscious would be sympathetic for missing indigenous women, but what does the group have to do with gender?

“MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+” The Canadian government just dropped this absolute monstrosity (and no, it isn’t satire).

@ICannot_Enough What JP Morgan got wrong was that these other EV cars from legacy luxury brands were high end and had better quality. Like comparing Blackberry or Palm Pilot with Apple.

The headline literally said: Sell $TSLA. Check the date. 8 years ago this month. Why? “The competition is coming.” 👀

@Eggplant_Elon Bitcoin runs on electricity, not fossil fuels. Even if you convince the world to stop using fossil fuels, the ones with renewables will continue mining. A guy living in the middle of nowhere with solar panels and Star-link internet can mine Bitcoin.

@plomoterap30 @grok I like to think that the veins in left hand image is more efficient in getting the blood and oxygen to the cells in different muscles of the neck, and that veins have structured themselves to cater for the head and jaw movements needed to consume food, breath, and communicate.

@JakeCan72 If I’m being honest though, there does not seem to be any effect to the nearby reserves after the draining in 2012. There seems to be less water, whether water is linked to the downflow of the Harrington reserves or not.

@JakeCan72 The 3 reservoirs in 2012, located in multiple properties under his name. Eventually they were drained out

In Oregon, all water is publicly owned. Rain that falls on your property. Snow that melts on your land. Gary Harrington didn’t accept that. He built three reservoirs on his 170-acre property in Eagle Point — collecting rainwater and snowmelt for personal use and wildfire protection. The state told him to drain the reservoirs. He refused. 30 days in jail. Nine misdemeanor convictions. $1,500 fine. His argument: it’s rain that fell on my land. Oregon’s argument: all water belongs to us. Oregon won.

@BGatesIsaPyscho The cameras are possibly 1080p or even 4k, but it’s the data link that’s limiting quality and forcing video compression. Web search says that they are on S-band connection of 1-2 mbps. By comparison SpaceX video connection with Starlink allow for 5 to 15 mbps

@mathemetica Total BS. This video itself within X is capped at 60hz, and can be seen by simply pausing the animation which should show sprites with no ghosting. In real life a human can subtly ‘observe’ differences though not be able to ‘identify’ or count the quanity of the hz value

Watch this 60 vs 120 vs 480 Hz demo So, the human eye can absolutely tell the difference in frame rates beyond 60 Hz. “The eye can only see in 60 fps”, is this a myth?

@DataSciFact Context: the fact that she has to respond to his statement in this way implies that she does not accept that any negative statistic applies to her, as opposed to accepting that statistics is a snapshot of an observation, and just shrug, or even sip coffee like this man did.

@JereLLo124 @teslaownersSV The Teslas with LFP batteries are recommended charge to 100%. Otherwise the Teslas with NMC batteries should only charge to 90%, but it’s OK to fully charge on occassional long interstate drives.
