What am I missing? Not financial advice, my comments are not a recommendation to buy/sell.

$USAR added some May / June calls. Seems like a good swing + vol looks underpriced to me given how thin the float is.

@PeterAttenb @mounir_maaoui @peonyKingOF Someone reached out to me tying the Humanoid timeline to the company’s comments in a way that was more convincing - I added to my position Friday and will likely add tomorrow. Agree on minimal catalysts, but valuation isn’t rich. Just a small swing for me in a theme.

Top of the list in their slides in the latest investor presentation. Whether or not it is $TSLA seems like someone would be using them for this $VPG. I am not super confident in the $TSLA connection. I think if it was that much of a sure thing, folks would have loaded calls before publishing the thesis. You got to deal with an ugly social media pop in price, but aside from that the valuation is cheap and it seems to be an unrecognized player in the right place.

@peonyKingOF You think $VPG / $CCG look great or that potential for another 30% drop?

Last SPAC bust there were plenty of solid clearly undervalued companies. Most of them multi-bagged off the lows and were acquired. Stuff like $BMTX, $AENT, etc. Can't even remember all the stuff they took private on the cheap. The problem was - in a bear market you had to wait something like year and a half for it to come to fruition - and there was no hard bottom. I feel like we are entering precisely the same terrain here. There is a small select number of tickers. Less than I can count on my hand - that look great - but could easily lose 30% of their value in a week - could be stuck with this thing for a year as dead money. $VPG, $CCG are two names that look that way to me. I think the smart way to do it is to nibble and dollar cost average in. Which is the total opposite of what has worked for the past two years - where if something looks hot - you go hard right out the gates and trim to something reasonable as the rest of the market quickly catches on and it re-rates. (Stuff that I definitely don't consider in this category are story stocks with no revenue or massive cash burn - no matter how exciting the story - odds are slim it's every breaking the current levels again. And everyone has their own company - with insane burn that is gonna turn it around - there has been maybe one case that truly played out that w🅰️y).

$VPG is there any basis to these $TSLA / Humanoid connections? I tried to match up the project timelines but given Humanoid's constant shifts was hard. Wary of Citron but given the move yesterday and selloff today, might make for an interesting swing. I started a small position.

@eddy_thorpe @KevinLMak How is it possible to get access to RJ's note? Do you have to be a RJ client or do they offer research access through another broker?

$SPHR Raymond James out with a note this morning pitching the April $37.50C for $0.40 on the basis that the March forbearance deadline has a good chance to yield positive results (i.e. a deal gets done, instead of further extension). Changes to the company's risk disclosures suggest the company is more likely to hand over the keys versus get a hair-cut done). Personally not crazy about this trade idea, if SPHR gives up the keys to MSGN, my best guess is the stock gaps to $40 ish. At $40, the call is worth around $2.50, and paying $0.50, that's around a 20% implied chance of success. I think that's pretty fair given the many extensions that have happened to date. It does not appear that they're in any rush to get this deal finalized. Not much interest from the market picking up this trade idea (only 39 contracts have traded of the April 37.5C), but someone is pretty aggressive on the March 35C line with 1800 contracts traded. That's about 100k delta's worth of stock, which is 2/3rds of todays volume. I much prefer the risk/reward of the stock here at $33, you get the upside if there's a favorable MSGN result, and there shouldn't™️ be much downside left in the stock (famous last words). PS - execution of this looks pretty smooth, my guess is call buyer whacked the market markers for size taking 700 ish contracts at $1.10. Then the market makers need to go buy stock on the open market to hedge their short delta exposure, which runs the stock up 70 cents, and now the options are priced at $1.15 x $1.35.

$PRMB would not have expected this to be flat today! Though I guess it's a $12B company.

@Sophoninvest @Citrini7 Don't think there is any reason to put down others to bring yourself up. You can point out your perceived discount without the @, Substack isn't a L/S portfolio lol.

@CallsPuts1 "We expect to deliver mid-teens Net Revenue growth and further expansion of Adjusted EBITDA Margin into the mid-to-high teens." They previously posted 25.5%, harder comps given 1Q24 Jelly comparison. The adj ebitda margin is good though, legal costs rolling help.

$WALD In 2024, we achieved a 27.5% increase in Comparable Net Revenue and a 65.1% rise in Adjusted EBITDA, demonstrating our proven ability to expand gross margins and optimize our cost base as we grow. Gross Profit was $49.4 million. Adjusted Gross Profit was $52.6 million, or 73.0% of net revenue, compared to $40.3 million in Q4 2023. Adjusted EBITDA doubled to $11.2 million (15.5% of net revenue), reflecting a 530 basis point expansion from Q4 2023. Let's see sec.gov/Archives/edgar…

@kordna24 @perry_lin1 If this is true, probably best to wait for post 3/31 to start any position. Wonder if they can be active on the buyback right now given the conversations, or if they want to just wait until post option delay anyway

@perry_lin1 Spoke to management. The option date will very likely be delayed to help C42 calibrate engineering changes and their demand book (maybe by a quarter). That said, it still looks like C42 take a large portion of the first 250MW HPC. $WULF is without doubt a long term buy

$WULF Core 42 will have to make a decision on their option for 108 MW of critical IT load by end of month. There are several possibilities. They can exercise and take the entire amount but I also wouldn’t discount the possibility that they take a little bit less, something like 75 MW. They could also upsize and take all of the $WULF capacity. When the company provides their update, I fully expect guidance on a second customer contract in the event any MW remains. The company seems to be executing well.

@perry_lin1 @RobEducated @icyopro23 Makes sense. Do you think if the date does turn out to be arbitrary, they would still provide soft guidance by 3/31 or just hold off altogether? Also, as an aside, is there a transcript / replay of their Cantor prez, would love to interpret what they’re saying to discuss.

@RobEducated @perry_lin1 @icyopro23 Do you think integrating Cayuga in slightly ahead of expectations was a sign Core42 might upsize? I kind of see that announcement and the idea they might delay the month end exercise as conflicting, but maybe I’ve got the wrong read.

Wulf ceo at cantor conference didn’t ooze confidence it would be exercised by month end. Sounded as if it was an arbitrary date that won’t likely be met. That said, he sounded very confident it will be taken by core42 or others within 90 days. Saying same thing I guess as Perry
