In the end, the first part of his run was just another iteration of stuff se saw. Red Fist, on the other hand, was brand new.

@Aladoofus Waid doesn't repeat the same cliches over and over. He actually tries something new, without deviating from Matt's persona (he actually dives into it), but most people enjoy a repetition of the same plots.

In the first season of Netflix we had 1 ep entirely dedicated to a hallway fight. Disney is just like “oh let's add some edgy stuff for no reason”
