@Salt_n_Smoke All other churches believe we no longer need them. This is not true. God has paused having prophets throughout history. He always calls them again to restore truths.

How can anyone believe God would just stop calling apostles and prophets? If He led His Church anciently, why not now? I believe He continues to call apostles and prophets.

Here are some simple truths taught here: We must repent of our sins. Salvation only comes through Jesus Christ. The Law of Moses prepared those in the Old Testament from Moses to the coming of Jesus Christ for Christ's birth and earthly mission. Redemption comes through Jesus Christ. Christ is the Lord. Christ is the Eternal Father. (Eternal meaning HE has ALWAYS been so.) So, to our polemic friends, get educated as to what we believe. And if you don't know what we believe, either read the Book of Mormon-Another Testament of Jesus Christ, or testify of YOUR beliefs. Call us whatever you want, but if Jesus Christ is our Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and the center of our faith, that argument falls apart pretty fast. Mormons aren’t Christians is one of those lines people keep passing around like it still means something. It doesn’t.
