After being around some Texas Tech media, I'm not sure I've ever seen a sports disconnect quite like what's going on between Tech and the Big 12 right now. They truly believe that the conference is out to get them. I think both sides think that the other side is taking crazy pills. Tech got a raw deal, but it was self-induced. Brett Yormark did the right thing strong-arming Tech, he did the wrong thing by choosing not to talk about it today IMO. I think it was a horrible look to not address the situation. I wish he would talk about Cincinnati's role (or lack thereof) in this situation but they also didn't hold a five person cringe panel gaslighting the public why Brendan Sorsby should play quarterback for them. Texas Tech did. If Oklahoma State fans threw paddles on the field, I'm sure they would be banned the next day. Are tortillas harmless? Probably. But the fans in Lubbock abused the tradition. The Big 12 doesn't have a vendetta against Texas Tech. Regardless of what I think, Tech truly believes the conference has it out for them.
