If God doesn't want something to happen. It won't happen. Like the Genesis 11 example of the Tower of Babel. Which by the way, has nothing to do with your subject. Mr. Simple I know you didn't say it was. The Tower of Babel is about man's pride and their inablility to give worship and praise to God for their accomplishment. He also gave us knowledge, so that we can advance things for the betterment of His creation. But again, we mess it up with our pride, selfishness, sins and rebellion against the one Who wants us to live an abundant and full life.

I'm not a jew, never said i was. Haven't even hinted at that. What I did say, is learning the hebrew language would be a good way to study the TaNaKh, through the orignal language, to gain more understanding of God. No one said that hebrew popped into existence in 1 day either. Again, those who through around ad hominem, have no argument.

@WNorbits @hookskat The Word of God, will never fail. Even if every bible every scripture was wiped out tomorrow. The bible can be rewritten verb batim within a day or two. God's word never comes back void.

Now, your just arguing to argue. b'reshit does not have a definite article and the word order is wrong. Literally translated, this would say: In first/beginning created God, the heavens (et) and (et) the land It seems as though this should be interpreted as: In the first thing [was] created God [together] with the heavens and with the land. Then how can there be a heavens, like sky, clouds, sun, the earth itself without a "universe"? Don't they kinda go together.

I was trying to keep it in context. I know there can be different translations or interpretations. This true for all languages, even english. But as things stand right now, unitl I get to glory and know for certain. Bereshith, means "Beginning" Not really that hard to understand.

Nope, not Paul. No one is sure who wrote Hebrews. Besides, if it was untrue, the Jews of the first century would have done what they could to wipe out Hebrews, because it was written specifically to the Jews. There are two written versions they have found of Hebrews, one was written in Hebrew and the other I believe in Aramaic.

Nope, God's will and thoughts are his and his alone. But during the time of the Exodus and the building of the Temple. The Gentiles were pretty barbaric and worshipped many other gods and refuse to even consider Jehovah as God, History itself even pans this out with the terrible worship and God instructed many to go out and to destroy these pagan, idols and worshipper. Exodus 20 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage Thou shalt have no other gods before m Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or an likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is the earth beneath, or that is the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LOES they God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Here's the kicker, God laid these laws out for the Jews at the beginning of the Exodus. On how he should be looked upon and reverenced. How do you think he wanted you and everyone else to treat His Son, Jesus Christ.
