50% hydration ok in bronchiolitis. We should be sending more of these kids home. Last 10-15 years we have inc admissions 4 fold with absolutely NO increase in ICU admissions. #eaps2018

@eduAcute As long as they aren’t too young and it’s not affecting their feeding they are going to do ok right? What were their indications for o2?

40% glucose 0.5ml/kg better analgesia than 25% glucose for Neonatal pain. No changes in glucose levels up to 30 mins. Maybe we can be using more glucose #EAPS2018

Sensitivity 96% for hx, exam, ECG. Pearl: post-exertional syncope (NOT MiD exertional) is usu VVS. Myoclonic jerks happen AFTER syncope cw seizure before. EcG green light #EAPS2018

@DrSuneth Bottom line I am taking away is compared with Europeans we are admitting WAY too many bronchs and are sticking HFNC and O2 on way too many also.

@DrSuneth Reported...also if no wet nappy in 12 hrs then that is a red flag. If only 50% normal intake should probably come in but I am thinking that would be few of our patients
