@birch_js Windows really struggles with multiple small files, it'd be funny if it weren't so sad. That said, most people use wsl for development which helps a lot

I developed on Windows and macOS side-by-side for a year and I cannot convey just how much slower npm installs are on Windows.

@Armandotrue Yes. Also providedIn root services. A few reasons: 1- HMR might destroy the root app. 2- you can have multiple angular apps running and destroy them as needed (kind of similar to module federation). 3- easier to refactor if needed. 4- has no downsides except 1 line of code

@Jean__Meche Just wondering- has anybody considered structural directives? Will they return as syntactic sugar (*) - or will these have to be applied to an ng-template manually with this new format?
