Akira Kurosawa is the obvious answer. But, no one mentioned him. Remember that I didn't add his works after mid '60s. Villeneuve's movie run is amateurish when compared to this force of nature.

@Barristerblog @TonyDowson5 @UKSupremeCourt Lord Leggatt was a philosopher before he was a lawyer.

You'd expect @UKSupremeCourt judgments on interlocutory financial applications to be rather dull, & yes, some parts are. But Lord Leggatt's judgment is a good read and a good judgment from one of our greatest judges. The dissenters seem a bit tetchy and pedantic in comparison.
