I added qwen 2 suport to deliverance github.com/edwardcapriolo… . I am going to dive into a big refactor now to make the underlying APIs similar in signature to those in HuggingFace as I cant go on trying to cross compare results.

I am so dumb I am debugging for the past 2 hours I asked every AI agent - perplexity, claude code, chatgpt and you will laugh at me, when i tell you the mistake. so the error was - The API needed {"videoURL": ""} as the body, and I was passing {"videoUrl": ""} I should touch some grass. @GergelyOrosz If you go to a book store the "computer section" is barely a shelf. Iphone for dummies, maybe one book on linux. Content moves fast books go obselete fast. Technical culture enjoys new stuff constantly. The money you make is the book increases you brand. Your brand gets job++

Conventional wisdom is that tech books barely ever make back the actual time spent writing, in royalties. And any good book needs serious time investment! I do believe we need *more* good tech books - which is why I wanted to share how much The Software Engineer’s Guidebook made. Knowing such exceptions can exist might help someone decide that it’s worth spending all that time writing a standout book! More: newsletter.pragmaticengineer.com/p/the-software…

Quick question : You have 50 microservices, each with its own API. The frontend team is losing their mind. To render a single page, they make 10+ network calls. The app is sluggish. Users are complaining. How do you fix this ?

A shitty part about getting older is no longer being able to hold strong convictions. This makes it hard to be a Twitter thought leader. Like I'd love to be a "huge monorepo advocate" or a "major serverless shill" but all I can think of are the downsides.
