The last photo of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, detained after refusing to abandon his colleagues and patients. In just one image, we see both the power of Palestinian humanity and the moral weakness of all those complicit in genocide. End all arms sales to Israel, now.

The UN estimates that around half a million people in Gaza are in flood-prone sites. Harsh winter weather is compounded by heavy rain and rising sea levels, which cause sewage pile-ups and disease," Unrwa said on Monday middleeasteye.net/live/live-over…

Lebanese paramedics sit amidst the rubble, grieving their murdered colleagues. Israel bombed a Civil Defense Center in Baalbek, Lebanon, wiping out 15 paramedics in an instant. These were first responders, not combatants. This is sheer barbarity.

Re: previous reconstruction, while researching for the Liverpool pottery industry - found this little pic of Crosby 1716 which is surprisingly early - both as an image and an e.g. of pottery.. Yet to see if it is in any way possible to map it (added some context)

Watercolour reconstruction of Liverpool's Herculaneum Pottery works: Toxteth Park. The date c.1815. Opened 1793/4 and closed in 1841 - to later become the site of Harrington Dock. The work is in part based on material in the excellent blog of Jim Kenny. wp.me/p2XyHv-2AF

@edwardrolf Brilliant. Did Lord Street extend over the water, where Church Street would be now?
